Introduced in Time Shooter 3: SWAT, the ballistic riot shield fundamentally reshapes how firefights play out. When deployed in your offhand, the shield creates an impenetrable barrier against small-arms projectiles, allowing you to advance through heavy crossfire unharmed.

Shield Positioning and Foot Protection

While the ballistic shield covers your upper torso and head completely, moving forward while standing erect leaves your lower extremities vulnerable to ricochets and low-angle fire. Always crouch while advancing under heavy fire to ensure complete frontal coverage.

Disarming Shielded Enemies

Later levels introduce armored terrorist operatives who also carry riot shields. Shooting their front plating is a waste of precious ammunition. Instead, throw a heavy object—such as a chair, monitor, or empty assault rifle—directly into their shield to stagger their guard, then shoot them in the exposed flank.
